About me

Hello!

I’m Jo.

Like many health coaches, my first client was myself. After a series of migraines, and following a fruitless visit to my GP, I decided to try cutting out sugar and sweeteners. I took a closer look at what I was eating and drinking, and made some changes. The migraines disappeared.

I was eating better, feeling better, and looking better. I was also starting to suspect I was gluten-intolerant. Once I took the plunge and cut out gluten, the IBS that had plagued me for over 20 years also disappeared.

I focused on adding more good stuff to my diet – whole foods, organic produce, home-made meals – and losing more of the not-so-good stuff – processed foods, artificial ingredients, takeaways.

To my surprise, I lost the weight that had crept on after motherhood. I had more energy. My skin and hair improved. Just about everything improved, really. And now, several years after that first migraine, I still feel good.

More recently, and particularly since becoming a health coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I’ve turned my attention to the other ingredients that make up a life well-lived – such as making space for joy, reflection and relaxation.

I’m still a work in progress, and it takes effort, but I believe it’s worth it.

If this strikes a chord with you, then get in touch – I'd love to help you create a lifestyle that helps you get the most from every day.

Jo x

PS - I'm based in Crewe, Cheshire, but happy to take on clients from anywhere in the world.
